Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application bshort (listed as “bshort - Aesthetic Shorts”, package com.huhfeelgood.bshort), developed and published by Heo Philgoo (허필구). Last updated: September 14, 2026.
bshort works with the photos and videos you select and any music you import yourself. These files are used only to compose your video and never leave your device. The developer cannot see them, and there is no server for them to be sent to.
The app holds no permission to read your photo library. Selection is handled by the system photo picker, which runs in its own process and hands the app only the items you chose. The app never learns that your other photos exist.
Everything involved in making the video — colour grading, typography, music, encoding — happens on the device. None of it uses the network, so it works exactly the same in airplane mode.
The app has no account and creates nothing that identifies you. Only two things are kept inside its own folder:
Documents/MusicLibrary so it is there next time. You can delete any track by swiping it in the music list.Documents/LastRender so the result survives if the app closes before you save it. It is deleted once you save to your photo library or close the result screen. Both live only on the device and are removed when you delete the app.
| Permission | Purpose | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Add to Photos | To save your finished video to your photo library | Only when you tap save. No read access is requested. |
| Tracking (ATT) | To let you choose whether ads are personalized | Declining restricts nothing in the app. |
The app does not ask for camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photo library read access.
The app is free and carries Google AdMob ads, shown as cards between the templates.
By Google's own disclosure, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects:
These are used to serve and measure ads and to prevent ad fraud, and — where you have agreed — to personalize them. The app has no account, so none of it is linked to your identity. The processor is Google LLC; the detail is in their advertising policy and AdMob data disclosure.
Consent (European Economic Area and the UK). In these regions the app asks for your consent to the processing of personal data for advertising when you first open it. The consent screen is provided by Google's User Messaging Platform, which also determines the region and stores your response. Here the legal basis for processing is your consent.
Changing or withdrawing consent. Open ⓘ → Ad consent from the top right of the home screen to make the choice again at any time. Withdrawing it does not restrict any feature of the app. (The entry appears only in regions where consent is required.)
Personalized ads on iOS. Separately from the above, iOS shows its App Tracking Transparency prompt. Decline it and no identifier is shared for personalization — every feature still works. You can change the choice at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Apart from fetching ads, the app does not use the network.
Of the system APIs Apple requires a declared reason for, this app uses exactly one: reading file timestamps. It reads the creation date of files in its own folder so your imported music can be listed newest first. It does not read files belonging to other apps or to you.
The developer does not sell or rent your information. Nothing is shared with anyone beyond the processing Google LLC performs under its own policy, as described in section 4.
For deletion requests concerning data collected by a third party, write to pgmagician@gmail.com and you will be walked through it.
The app has no account and the developer keeps nothing that identifies you, so there is no personal information held by the developer for you to access or correct. The rights below concern what is collected through advertising.
European Economic Area and the UK. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdraw it immediately in the app under ⓘ → Ad consent; doing so does not make processing carried out before the withdrawal unlawful. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Certain US states, including California. You may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for personalized advertising, in the same place: ⓘ → Ad consent. You will not receive a lesser service for exercising this right.
Everywhere. Music and videos kept on your device are removed when you delete the app. You can reset your advertising identifier under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. For deletion of data collected by a third party, write to pgmagician@gmail.com.
This app is not directed to children under the age of 14, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If this policy changes, the change and its revision date will be posted on this page.
